AerialZone


AerialZone teaches each student with the core elements of Gymnastics, followed by total body conditioning and more difficult tricks. Creativity in teaching methods will set us apart from our competitors, using both repetition and variation. We believe that a child must have fun and truly enjoy what he or she is doing to learn successfully. Our teachers will be trained in more unique methods of teaching that produce the same.

Our pre-school programme is designed for children from 6 months old to school age- 5 years and aims to develop their balance, co-ordination, gross and fine motor skills, special awareness and body control, while learning about colours, numbers, word association and social interaction, all in a safe and fun environment.

Sessions consist of warm-up games with hand apparatus and apparatus circuits to help develop their skills and to challenge the different age groups. Qualified coaches are on hand to help and encourage the children. The classes are split into different age groups to enable the children to work at an appropriate level.

School going kids (6-12) The 6 year olds have the benefit of physical maturity that enables them to perform skills more easily than a 3 year old. Through the presentation of proper progressions, spotting, and practice, 6 year olds are capable of mastering many impressive gymnastics skills and sequences. Skills are easier for children of this age to learn in large part due to their ability to listen attentively, analyze others, and assimilate information given by the instructor. The class activities are guided by the developmental stages of the students. As musculature and skeletal strength develop during the formative years, children gain more confidence and a greater ability to perform physical skills. Child development specialists graph developmental stages by age. Children come in all sizes and shapes and have their individual timetables of growth. Therefore, the charted stages of development are used as a much-needed guideline for curriculum development.
